The Umpqua Valley's Favorite Holiday Tradition

The holiday season is here, and The Roseburg Rotary Club is excited to bring joy, tradition, and community spirit to Douglas County once again with the Festival of Lights!

The 33rd annual Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights opens at River Forks Park Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025 and runs through - and includes - the evening of January 1, 2026.

For over three decades, this beloved Rotary event has been a beacon of holiday cheer, offering a breathtaking half-mile drive-through experience with over 90 dazzling displays and more than half a million lights. Families and friends gather at our Holiday Village, where Santa, a model train, and festive activities bring the magic of the season to life.

Beyond spreading holiday joy, the Festival of Lights is a pillar of our community, funding scholarships and supporting local causes. And each season, we welcome over 8,000 cars through our display, sharing the magic of the holidays with thousands of families.

This tradition is made possible by the generosity and support of hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and visitors each year. Thank you for helping us make this season our most magical yet!

Your contribution helps us continue illuminating hearts and uplifting the community.

For just $10 per car, visitors enjoy all the traditional attractions that have made the Festival famous – including the World’s Largest Nutcracker and the Dutch Bros Holiday Village.

A ticket to the famous drive-through also offers free entry into the Dutch Bros Holiday Village at Helleck Hall – Thursday through Sunday nights starting December 4th with a bonus night Monday the 24th, Christmas Eve.

Visitors to the Dutch Bros Holiday Village will enjoy Santa Claus, the Dancing Lights display, updated model railroad, and decorated Christmas trees. Children can write their letters to Santa, and families can purchase refreshments like cider, hot chocolate, and assorted treats while they enjoy the spirit of the holiday season!

Something new to look forward to is the addition of Gingerbread People! Businesses are invited to join the Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights Holiday Village by decorating an 18” gingerbread cutout for a community scavenger hunt and selfie trail! Sponsors provide a raffle prize and small gift for kids visiting Santa with the option to volunteer. Email folholidayvillage@gmail.com to participate!

And, as always, several special nights are scheduled throughout the season, allowing thousands of people to see the attractions for free through special offers from our generous sponsors.

Again this year, visitors can also see the attractions for free through special offers from our generous sponsors.
